SCYSnippets are selected tools and components from SCY-Lab. They give an impression of the various tools that are available in SCY without needing to download and register to the full SCY-Lab. SCYSnippets are small stand-alone tools that are started as applets or via Java webstart in a single-click manner.

However, certain features of SCY-Lab are not available in the SCYSnippets, as they depend on the integration in SCY-Lab and on a server architecture, which is not available for the snippets. These features include collaborative use of tools, exchange of ELOs, pedagogical agent support etc.
